Dudley offered him a job in Chicago as a trader, where he was promised a membership and three hours a day to trade for himself after filling orders for customers. The growing success of the financial futures at the Chicago Board of Trade interfered with his personal trading, so Sagui moved to Kidder Peabody. There he had a lot of success and made partner during his seven year stay. He resigned from Kidder and joined his brother Matt as a broker and local trader.
