PAUL R.T. JOHNSON JR – OPEN OUTCRY TRADERS HISTORY PROJECT

Paul RT Johnson, Jr. was recently interviewed by John Lothian News for the MarketsWiki Education Open Outcry Traders History Project.

Johnson is a Chicago-based former futures broker, exchange member and current chief investment officer at his family office. He was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade and served on its board of directors from 1994 to 2000. He ran a futures brokerage operation from the financial floor at the Chicago Board of Trade, serving commercial and investor clients with a team he led with a partner. Johnson was featured in the book “My Word is My Bond” about traders at the CBOT and written by Arlene Bronstein. Johnson served a term as a trustee of the State Universities Retirement System of Illinois from 2012 to 2018. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
