That was another time in my life where somebody challenged me to look and see if there was possibly more out there.
Even when things seem tough, good things can occur at the most unexpected times. George Hanley, founder of Hanley Group recalls a period in his career when he overcame obstacles thanks to the guidance and help of those close to him. Hanley had connections to the Chicago Board of Trade through his family, and would visit the exchange as a child. In middle school, he was determined to become a trader, but unfortunately, he traveled the path of the trading career in reverse. However, thanks to a trading technique he learned from his brother and advice from a priest named Father Slattery, Hanley revived his trading career and was able to create three trading groups, including Hanley Group.
