Client Delivery Management Summer Internship

Department Overview

This position will be part of the Fidessa internship program and as a function of the America’s Client Delivery Management group.

Client Delivery Management is responsible for maintaining client relationships, driving implementation of projects and other initiatives post contract. Based in New York with offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, and Canada, Fidessa’s Delivery Management Team is formed of an enthusiastic mix of people with strong technical, functional and client service skills. This department touches many aspects of business including client strategy, relationship management, business engagement, and project management.

Job Description

Fidessa is seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking for a challenging and varied role in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate is currently in their junior year at college/university with a degree in Computer Information Systems or related field. Must be able to dedicate the majority of the summer to this internship experience. This position offers the opportunity to learn about the financial markets while sharpening your business and technical skills.

The key to successfully supporting such large complex environment is having intelligent tools that facilitate access to relevant data through aggregating large data sets and allowing easy and logical access to the right information. The Intern will be responsible for developing and maintaining SharePoint; one of the primary tools for the Delivery Management team. This will involve taking requirements from Delivery Managers, developing a plan based on those requirements, suggesting workflow improvements and implementing changes.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and develop Business Requirements for the development of Delivery Management SharePoint Site
  • Update & Organize information on the Delivery Management SharePoint Wiki pages
  • Present SharePoint Changes to internal stakeholders and end users
  • Create documentation such as user guides and help documents
